Just do it!

There is nothing I enjoy more than putting my heart down on paper. So often I have found myself overwhelmed or passionate about a subject, but as I write, it seems the words just begin to flow. It is often when I find myself in a hard time that God puts on my heart what my head already knows. I would frequently tell my mom that I knew what I needed to do. I knew the verses to quote. I knew the songs to sing. I knew the words to say. I just needed what I knew in my head to get to my heart. I found through what I wrote that it was almost a confirmation of what was already on my heart. If I could encourage you with anything aside from getting ahold of God through your storm, be honest and real and write whatever God puts on your heart. Get a journal and just be honest with God. You will find that what you know in your mind is just waiting to be expressed. and why not sit down and write a letter to God. That was exactly what my journal was through the hard times. it was a letter to myself and to God. It was honest, and it was real. and that's exactly where God wants you. He wants you to be honest and real before Him. so do it. Find a journal and a quiet place, and write your heart out!
